On Sunday 11th July 38 members and family members of the Group did an eight mile sponsored walk from the HQ building to Hartshill Hayes and back with a picnic at the Hayes. Very wlll done to all who took part and a special thanks to the support team for keeping us supplied with refreshments and helping control the traffic at road crossing points. The Group held its first Family camp at Rough Close in 2009 where 31 people had a wonderful dry and sunny weekend. Many activities were enjoyed including Orienteering, Pioneering and the Traverse Wall plus some more traditional games like rounders and lawn darts. Most amazing of all we managed to bring ALL the tents back DRY!

I think everyone who attended enjoyed themselves - I know I did. I am already thinking about next years camp - if you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know
